History
The Hajj was first ordained by Allah who instructed Abraham to build the Kaba. Abraham would come back to the Kaba once a year and perform the Hajj. Over time the ceremony of the Hajj became unholy because of people who placed idols around the Kaba. Muhammad soon came along and taught the word of Allah to others. This restored the purity of the Hajj ceremony and is now practiced by Muslims today.
